Full Stack Engineer

As a full stack engineer you would be joining a small, dedicated team and working directly with the CTO and CEO to build out our product. With your technical experience you will manage individual projects from design and development to testing and production. Ideal candidates enjoy architecting and building new products everyday.

 

Qualifications :

  • Should be extremely well versed in Javascript
  • Experience with Node.js/Ember.js and Postgres/MongoDB/Redis 
  • Ability to use both SQL and NoSQL databases with ease
  • Experience using a full coffeescript stack, as well as Java or Objective-C is a plus

The Ideal candidate will have experience in a technology startup and been a part of growing an organization. The Human Resources Coordinator will be in charge of implementing some new HR policies and refining what we already have. This role has the opportunity to grow into a Lead or Management position for the right candidate. 

 

You will...

  • Manage our benefits administration, training and other HR programs

  • Coordinate with our Lead Recruiter assist in the hiring and recruiting process.

  • Refine and coordinate performance review process, promotions and compensation changes with management team

  • Coordinate effective employee on-boarding and terminations, including equipment, access, required forms, visa clearances and team assimilations

  • Ensure the development of the Employee Handbook and the dissemination of key policies and procedures

  • Ensure managers have the right HR information to make business decisions

  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions

We’re looking for an experienced Marketing Associate to join the team in our headquarters.  In this role, you will work on our growing team and get experience working on many aspects of Marketing.  managing existing relationships to drive new acquisition and retention efforts. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of brand management and creativity that understands the data behind decisions. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all email marketing efforts from creative conception to execution, including design, copywriting, editing and results
  • Oversee Washio’s reputation management through the daily maintenance of local search pages, including Yelp and Google+.

  • Oversee all social media initiatives, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and the Washio Blog.

Operations Associate

Washio is a Santa Monica based startup disrupting the laundry and dry cleaning industry. Currently operating in six cities, we are adding a new associate to our operations team to help support our rapid growth. You will report to the VP of Operations.

As part of the ops team, you are the Barry White-esque voice of Washio. You will manage the day-to-day stream of emails, phone calls, text messages, or anything that comes your way while troubleshooting and maintaining happiness across the board.

We are looking for associates who first and foremost love solving other people's problems. Your friends would describe you as selfless, warm-hearted and empathetic--you're the kind of person who always helps the old woman cross the street. Awesome candidates should also have strong written and oral communication skills, a team first attitude and a desire to grow with the company.

  • Help maintain the operation of our distribution facilities by:
    • Preparing and dispatching driver orders
    • Organizing and itemizing of orders for our cleaning partners
    • Inputting customer orders into our backend
    • Maintaining the organization of our facility
    • Occasionally making customer deliveries
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager in rolling out new initiatives and building the market
  • Assist in driver onboarding and training
